BADONI CLARK LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes Badoni Appraisal, an Android application for appraising development sites (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes the information the App handles, where that information is stored and how you can edit or delete it.

About This App
Badoni Appraisal is a site appraisal notebook for planning work. It records sites and the planning designations that affect them, tests a proposal against a list of local plan policies, checks daylight and separation distances, sizes a householder extension against its permitted limits, weighs the reasons given in a refusal and sets out visibility splays at a site access.
The App is ready to use once installed, and each result it shows is worked out from the details you type in.
Third-Party Components
Two Google components are included in the App, each governed by Google’s privacy terms:
- Google Play Services: the Android system layer that installs the App, delivers new releases and verifies that the installed copy carries the signature of the build we released. Further details: Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts: the typefaces on these screens ship inside the App package and are drawn from the installed files. Further details: Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Local Data Storage
The details you enter are kept in the App’s private storage area on your device. They include:
- site records: reference, address, site area, frontage, aspect, existing use, number of units, visit date, notes and the planning designations recorded for the site;
- policy tests, with the verdict recorded against each local plan policy;
- daylight and separation measurements;
- householder extension dimensions;
- refusal reasons and the scheme benefits weighed against them;
- visibility splay measurements for a site access;
- the language selected for the App.
Each entry is saved as soon as it is made and remains on that device, ready for the next time the site is opened.
Editing and Deleting Information
Any appraisal can be reopened and edited from its list. The Settings screen offers a single action that clears every saved appraisal, and removing the App through Android’s settings deletes its storage area and all of its contents.

Badoni Appraisal is a professional planning tool intended for users aged 16 and over.
Updates to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the App changes. The latest version will always be available at this address.
